A Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

This past Saturday we ventured out to the local pumpkin patch.....but first took a few pictures at home! Lainey brought back a HUGE pumpkin from MO and it was the perfect prop. Boy, did I get some good ones! I have a NEW trick. I told Madden there was a firetruck in my camera lens and he needed to look right at it.....and it worked!

I just LOVE these, so get ready for picture overload!

See, he's looking for that firetruck.... :)

SO GROWN UP!

....and he tried to EAT the pumpkin....

....and throw the pumpkins.....oh, the joy of a BOY!

Catch me if you can....

After our little photo shoot, we headed to the local pumpkin farm. This was their first year - and while it wasn't anything spectacular, it was simple and perfect for us to spend a little time at....and close to home! They will have blueberries in the summer and we hope to go back!

...apparently, the lady taking the picture doesn't know my trick to get Madden to look at the camera!

Waiting for the train ride...

Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum! Marc was such a good sport to spend Saturday doing this while college football was on! He keeps asking me why we couldn't do this stuff in the Spring or Summer - why I decide to do 'family outings' in the Fall when football is on?! Um, well, there aren't pumpkins then and its too dang HOT in the summer to leave the house! So, c'mon!

Fun on the hayride!

Sweet hands....showcasing the spider ring he got from the doctor (we went to the doctor before the pumpkin patch to learn he had his first ear infection of the season!....oh, well, it was a good run...hadn't had one since May!)

Free hotdogs!

Peek a boo!

What a beautiful, fun, Fall day!
