Trip To The Dentist

We finally took Madden to the dentist!  Aunt Cheryl had told us we didn't need to go right at age 3, so we waited a while - and boy am I glad we did!

On the way there, Marc and I were deciding who would hold Madden down, etc.  We never imagined how WELL it could've gone. 

Cheryl did an AMAZING job with him and made it SO FUN!  He LOVED it!

She counted his teeth (he has 20!) first while she scraped a bit - but she was so fast, he didn't even realize it!
Then, she brushed.  She let Madden feel the spinner brush on his finger first.....let him spray daddy with the water pic and showed him how to use the 'sucker' to suction the water out. 

 

What a great patient!  His teeth look great - good spacing, no cavities!  See you again in 6 months!
