He helped us cut out the cookies...
We cooked them and let them cool - then the girls spent the night decorating them!
After the cookies, we decided to try making divinity. My Nanny used to always make divinity and even had a recipe on how to make it in the microwave. In addition to plain divinity, she added peanut butter and made peanut butter divinity - so we decided to give it a try!
We had the recipe and followed it carefully.....and it took 3+ people to figure it out!
Rolling it into a "log"....
It was scary, but turned out DELICIOUS! Just like Nanny's! Nanny, if you read this, you should be proud of us! :) Love that you gave us so many special recipes!
