Madden Turns Two - Part 2

This past weekend, we went to San Antonio to celebrate our birthdays with my side of the family. Ben was home from college and we enjoyed having everyone together. It was a whirlwind trip, but a fun one! My family worked hard to provide a fun celebration for us!

We started our day on Saturday with breakfast at the Magnolia Pancake House!

After breakfast and presents, the guys went to Lockhart, TX to get some BBQ - while the girls (and Madden!) did a little shopping. Madden ended up napping in the car that afternoon.

Then we headed home and got ready for dinner. We made this. And it was SO good!

After dinner, we had MORE cake and birthday celebrations.....

Lainey had this caterpiller cake made for Madden! ADORABLE!
Madden loved it! I think Lainey has some pictures to send me of him eating his cupcakes!

More presents!

Then we headed to the park for a little bit.

Sunday, we went to church at Oak Hills. This lady spoke and it was wonderful! We enjoyed seeing some old friends there too!

After church we headed home for BBQ, but not before we took a few pictures.....

These 2 were thrilled to be taking pictures......and somehow Ben managed to escape my camera all weekend.....and he had already left by Sunday. :(

We loaded the car after lunch and this is how we were all feeling after a few days of birthday fun!
