February....so far....

 I really cannot beleive it is already mid February!  The first few weeks of 2014 have just flown by.  And unfortunately, we have had quite a bit of sickness in our house - pneumonia for Marc, breathing treatments for Marley and then we all got the stomach bug (again!) last week.  I'm looking forward to Spring!!

Last week, we got a bit of snow/ice and I decided that even though we had been sick, this might be our only opportunity to get out and play.  This was Marley's first experience with snow - and I think she thought we were crazy.  She didn't last long in the cold and just looked at us with a blank stare most of the time. 

Madden lasted a bit longer, but complained of the cold as well!  We enjoyed a snowball fight in the back yard after Marley went inside - and played as long as the snow lasted.  This was on Day 2 and it was melting SO FAST!

Sunday, we made it to church (class too!)  and Marley was dressed in her Valentine best.  Love having a girl to dress up!  

We've got a busy week as we prepare for Valentine's Day on Friday - lots of baking and Valentine making!
