Valentine's Fun

By February, I was starting to feel the newborn fog start to lift and thought that we could actually do a few things!  Valentine's Day was coming and I love a holiday around red, candy and hearts - so I planned a few activities!

We made sugar cookies and chocolate pretzel bites - and got Madden's treat ready for his classmates.  He was a big helper with all of it and had a blast!

Taking some time out to eat pickles and visit with Marley!

Dad helped too!

Madden's valentine's for his class were found on Pinterest.  Super easy and fun.  Each baggie had a car in it and some candy.  The hardest part was making him write his name on each one!  He hated sitting there doing it - homework is going to be dreadful one day!

On February 14, the kids and I went to Madden's school for his class party.  This was Marley's first introduction to Madden's friends and they were all interested to see her.  Madden was really proud to show off his little sister!

Handing out his treats.  Each child had a box that they had decorated at school to collect them in.

After being among the craziness of the morning, Marley and I came home and took a nap.  When we got up, I was greeted with beautiful flowers from Marc - very sweet!

Our table looked so festive!

Madden was excited to get a few new Batman toys and some candy!

....and this sweet girl gave us the best present of all.....her FIRST SMILE!!!

.....we sure enjoyed this outfit from Aunt Cheryl!

Happy Love Day!
